Chanson du chanteur de soul américain Sam Cooke, sortie en 1962 et qui deviendra très vite un standard pop.

Elle sera par la suite reprise par de nombreux artistes de genres différents.

C'est une des 500 chansons du rock and roll of fame qui ont façonné le rock and roll.

La chanson est un remaniement du single de Charles Brown de 1959, I want to go home, le refrain change de façon significative, la chanson prend une tournure plus laïque.
